CAE - Certificate in Advanced English
CAE assesses language ability at level C1 in The European Framework of Reference.
It indicates a high level of language competence for candidates wishing to use English for professional or study purposes. It is recognised by the majority of British universities and higher education institutions as fulfilling entrance requirements in English language. CAE is recognised by the Australian Government's Department of Immigration and Citizenship for student visas.
CONTENTS
Paper 1: Reading (1 hour and 15 minutes).
Paper 2: Writing (1 hour and 30 minutes),
Paper 3: English in Use (1 hour).
Paper 4: Listening (approximately 40 minutes).
Paper 5: Speaking (15 minutes).
All candidates will be able to access their results electronically.
Passing candidates will receive a certificate 2-3 months after the examination day.

Cambridge ESOL has introduced a new regulation that will apply to all Cambridge English: Advanced candidates from 1st November 2011. Each candidate who takes Cambridge English: Advanced will be photographed on the day of the exam.
The photos taken on the day of the test, as well as results, will be available on the secure Online Results Verification website for use by organisations wishing to verify a result. Candidates will be able to control who can access their result and view their photo.
When candidates register to take the exam, they will be asked to give their consent to the photograph. If candidates are under 18, their parents will need to give consent.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR CAE:
1. Download the registration form (Microsoft Excel).
2. Fill in the white fields electronically, and check the spelling and the information once more at the end to avoid mistakes.
3. Attach the completed registration form to an e-mail, and send it to cambridge@studieskolen.dk.
4. At the same time, please pay the examination fee to netbanking account no. 5033 1373741.
Please note that the entry closing date for the May/June 2012 examination is 5 March 2012!
Please also note that, after having sent the registration form to Studieskolen, you need to check your e-mail regularly for important information from Studieskolen and Cambridge ESOL. Please remember to check your spam filter too, to avoid that important e-mails end up there by mistake.
Cancellation: If you cancel your registration between March 5 and April 26 we will refund 50% of the exam fee. After April 26 the fee will not be refunded.
