FCE - First Certificate in English
FCE assesses language ability at level B2 in The European Framework of Reference.
FCE has widespread recognition in commerce and industry, e.g. for contact with the public or secretarial work in banking, airlines, catering, etc. It is also recognised by some university faculties, colleges and other institutions as fulfilling English language requirements.
CONTENTS
Paper 1: Reading (1 hour).
Paper 2: Writing (1 hour and 20 minutes).
Paper 3: Use of English (45 minutes).
Paper 4: Listening (approximately 40 minutes).
Paper 5: Speaking (14 minutes).
All candidates will be able to access their results electronically.
Passing candidates will receive a certificate 2-3 months after the examination day.

Written exam: Saturday 9 June or Tuesday 12 June
Oral exam: Between 25 May and 17 June
Examination fee: DKK 1.975
Entry closing date: 5 March

FCE for Schools
Cambridge English: First for Schools follows exactly the same format as Cambridge English: First and the level of the question papers is identical. The only difference is that the content and treatment of topics in Cambridge English: First for Schools have been particularly targeted at the interests and experience of school pupils.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR FCE/FCE for Schools:
1. Download the registration form (Microsoft Excel).
2. Fill in the white fields electronically, and check the spelling and the information once more at the end to avoid mistakes.
3. Attach the completed registration form to an e-mail, and send it to cambridge@studieskolen.dk.
4. At the same time, please pay the examination fee to netbanking account no. 5033 1373741.
Please note that the entry closing date for the May/June 2012 examination is 5 March 2012!
Please also note that, after having sent the registration form to Studieskolen, you need to check your e-mail regularly for important information from Studieskolen and Cambridge ESOL. Please remember to check your spam filter too, to avoid that important e-mails end up there by mistake.
Cancellation: If you cancel your registration between March 5 and April 26 we will refund 50% of the exam fee. After April 26 the fee will not be refunded.
